This unique French 'Greatest Hits' album dates from September 1965 and is one of the group's most sought after worldwide rarities
This 1st pressing disc is on the dark blue & silver Odeon label: OSX 231

Both are clean but have crosses in pencil aside 3 tracks on label 1 and 2 on the other.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy with just a handful of light, non-feelable marks each side in strong daylight. Close inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals several light hairlines but nothing which affects sound or play. Both sides of this rare disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has received a moderate amount of careful play but plays without any significant deterioration to the sound quality. My single careful playcheck at volume revealed some light background between tracks, but no groove/playwear distortion, clicks, pops or any other audible distractions.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A highly respectable example of this attractive cover which retains a clean, high-gloss front panel with minimal signs of storage. Its only significant sign of wear is to the lower left corner where there are a few small holes. All other corners are undamaged. There is a 1.5mm tear to the front opening edge and a small repaired section to the rear one. The rear panel is clean overall with the usual age-toning. Both flipbacks are intact and in-place and there is no writing anywhere. No original inner-sleeve is present.
The spine is clean with just the letter 'G' of '..Grands..' missing. Both seams are unstressed & unsplit.
