This is the picture disc copy of the original film soundtrack of the 1978 animated feature length feature The Lord of the Rings, directed by Ralph Bakshi.

It is comprised of 2 albums, with 4 pictures that have their representations shown below.

This is a spectacular performance with reasonable fidelity, unusual in that most picture discs were not really meant to be played, but looked at! It is a rarely found item, and highly desired by collectors. A physical description follows...

ABOUT ME & THE ITEM ...

I have been collecting books and music for over 35 years and have amassed an enormous collection with many duplicates. I do not subscribe to "grading" as it is so subjective and most of the "graders" truly have no clue! Therefore I'll simply describe things in normal English!

This is new copy, brand new and still sealed in shrinwrap! Visually appealing and free of any marks, this is a fine collectible copy!

Regarding auctions, let me add that I am a private collector of art, books, music (over 10,000 vinyl records alone!) and "stuff" and am very picky about what I buy and I don't like surprises when I buy things from auctions any more than you do.. I promise that everything I know about this item is in this description. I have sold many, many books and music items on eBay and have only received one complaint in thousands of auctions about the accuracy in my descriptions.

NOTE: I have recently had a LOT of packages lost by the post office. Apparently their heightened security includes LOSING packages. Insurance is for loss as well as damage and as a result, I am now ONLY SHIPPING packages insured!
