PICTURE DISC ~ DOUBLE LP ~ 4 PIX!
This is the picture disc copy of the original film soundtrack of the 1978 animated feature length feature The Lord of the Rings, directed by Ralph Bakshi.It is comprised of 2 albums, with 4 pictures that have their representations shown to the right of this text.
This is a spectacular performance with reasonable fidelity, unusual in that most picture discs were not really meant to be played, but looked at! It is a rarely found item, and highly desired by collectors.

ABOUT ME & THE ITEM ...
I have been collecting books and music for over 35 years and have amassed an enormous collection with many duplicates. I do not subscribe to "grading" as it is so subjective and most of the "graders" truly have no clue! Therefore I'll simply describe things in normal English!- *Unlike most sellers of vinyl, I actually listen to every album I sell, front to back. This is very clean copy. It is flat and free of warps, and has been stored in a temperature controlled room in my vinyl collection, standing upright as all vinyl albums should be stored... It does has a VERY small amount of surface noise, but did not skip on my system at all.
This is a near-new copy, played once, MAYBE twice. Visually appealing and free of any marks, this is a fine collectible copy!

As this is vinyl, it does qualify for media mail, but despite the post office claims of 2-9 days delivery time, it is taking roughly 3 weeks to get there. If you REALLY want this rare vinyl album bouncing around a hot delivery truck for 3 weeks, go ahead and select media mai, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND paying the few dollars extra for Priority Mail which will get it there in about 3 days! International will be more..
NOTE: Although I have a LOT of experience shipping vinyl around the world, I have recently had a LOT of packages lost by the post office. Apparently their heightened security includes LOSING packages. Insurance is for loss as well as damage and as a result, I am now ONLY SHIPPING packages insured!
CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS:If you choose this option, PLEASE also indicate what AUCTION NUMBER you are sending payment for. Believe it or not, I get payments with no indication of what it is for and I no longer have the time to "research" them, so PLEASE, give me a clue!
