This is the 1967, first edition, “VAN GELDER” stamped pressing of LEE MORGAN’s “CornBread” on the "New York USA” labels of Blue Note BLP 4222.   Musicians include Lee Morgan – Trumpet, Herbie Hancock – Piano, Billy Higgins – Drums, Jackie McLean – Alto sax, Hank Mobley – Tenor sax, Larry Ridley – Bas.s

VINYL plays beautifully with occasional pops or ticks. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No skips. Very Good gloss. A couple non-feelable hairline marks.  (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The “New York USA” labels are clean. See photos.

COVER shows much ringwear. Corners worn. Both seams show cracking, spine in good shape, with wear. Back jacket shows some wear. Please see photos.

     

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER. Record photographed before final clear rinse/dry.
