Here is the VERY FIRST Acetate recording from Eddie and the Hot Rods. This one is on the Trident Lable and dated 5th January 1976. On the sleeve it carries a note "For Howard Thompson - Urgent". Howard Thompson of course being the very man who took the Hot rods on board at Island records way back then.

This is a single sided 12 inch LP carrying 7 tracks. Its in great shape too. Most of the tracks are those which eventually made the main body of the Hot rods first LP "Teenage Depression'. Also included on this acetate are "Writing on the Wall / Cruising in the Lincoln" which of course were the A and B side of the Hots Rods first 45. (full track listing see the pics)
