Complete with the Original 1st Press Gatefold Sleeve and the Earliest Possible Inner Sleeve!!!

Here is another gem from my own mostly Nr Mint personal collection (which I am selling off gradually to lessen the pain...) I have been collecting very rare vinyl for a long time now. As a collector, I have been very critical about the condition of the records I have chosen to buy over the years, and only selected the most pristine 1st pressings I have found.  My collection is therefore filled with not only the rarest UK 1st pressings, but also records of the highest grade quality condition, some of the best you will probably ever come across. Sadly, most now have to find new homes. As I said, I am very strict with my grading, so when I describe a record as Nr Mint - you can rest assured that it will be a true Nr Mint record (I never grade any records as Mint because Mint does not exist unless you own a time machine and go back and bag a job in a 1960's record pressing plant!)

You are bidding on a Superb ORIGINAL UK 1973 UK 1st Pressing of this all time classic LP by Led Zeppelin-that's right it is the ultimate UK 1st Pressing of their Classic Houses of The Holy album!!! And what's more - it is in impossible Ex+/ Ex+ condition throughout!!! In my opinion this record is as good as you will ever see. It has the correct Superhype credit on both labels and inner sleeve and the very early A4//B1 Matrix along with the 'For Mary' & 'Pecko' Label etchings!!! Although the cheap European 1980's re-issues of this album are still commonly found, this original early UK pressing just never shows up (and NEVER in this kind of condition!!!!) The quality pressed 1970's UK vinyl is in visually and aurally superb condition and shines with a just pressed look and feel, and the 1st issue sleeve is also simply amazing.  It really is a superb UK 1st press of this awesome LP. Due to the price this will fetch, I will describe it as meticulously as possible, so you know exactly what you are getting for your money. This record comes from part of a  MASSIVE Nr MINT Led Zeppelin 1st Press collection I purchased some years ago. This LP is in absolutely pristine condition throughout!!! The vinyl has a beautiful unblemished glass-like sheen!!! The Classic 1st Pressing centre labels with the all important 'Superhype' and 'Made in The UK' Credits are in Nr. Mint condition!!! They have NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! They have just the faintest light & wispy spindle traces on each side and that's it!!! All in all these labels are fantastic, this record looks as if it has only been played once or twice ever!!! The gramophone rims containing the all important matrix's are also mint!!! As described above - the vinyl itself is in Stunning condition!!! NO Scratches, No hairlines, NO scuffing, NO Groovewear, NO warping, in fact - NO blemishes of any kind save for one or two of the lightest almost invisible wispy non-sounding paper lines that can only be seen when angling the record against very strong light and are simply caused by removing the record from its inner. I am very pleased to state that plays as good as it looks with NO Crackle, NO horrible loud Pops, NO Jumps, NO Skips and NO hissing!!! It easily grades as Excellent Plus (most would grade as Nr Mint)!! Please remember this is an original early UK Harvest pressing and is visually and aurally far superior to the later and much more common  late 1970's and 1980's European re-pressings. This record grades as Nr Mint visually and aurally- one of the best examples you will find!!! It is perfectly quiet between tracks with NO hissing, virtually NO crackling and obviously NO jumps and NO pops etc!!! Absolutely beautiful!!! The thick quality pressed chunky 1970's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!).

The classic 1st issue gatefold sleeve is also in STUNNING condition!!! The  un-laminated matt finish on this sleeve (note: unlike the common cheap European reissues it does not have that shiny fake laminate finish) is superb - the colours are still as bright and vibrant  as they were when new, in fact it looks like it has just been purchased. The photos really do not do it justice. It is a beautiful looking sleeve. It has very little of the ring wear and rubbing so common with this fragile un-laminated sleeve, although there is the faintest outline of ring wear on the back and a small thin line of light rubbing on the front side. This very rare 1st press sleeve easily grades as Ex+ and is one of the nicest-looking examples you will ever see!!! A beautiful sleeve!!! Of course, the LP comes with its ORIGINAL 'textured' lyric-printed inner sleeve! with the correct 'Superhype' credit!! It is absolutely perfect, with NO unwanted writing/scribbles, NO creases and NO seam splitting at all- which is very rare for these fragile inners!!!  This rare 1st press inner easily grades as Nr Mint!!! This record will come shipped to you in a replacement standard inner sleeve, with the original tucked safely inside the outer jacket for protection. I will be selling my entire UK 1st Press collection of 1960/70's Psych/Prog./Beat/Rock & Folk over the coming months, most of these records are in Mint- condition, many having 3 figure book prices. Like the vast majority of my collection, this record has been archived upright in a thick outer PVC sleeve in a smoke & damp free environment since purchase!

It has recently been pointed out to me that some eBay sellers have been using my images without permission. If you are thinking of using images from my pages - please don't. It's not that I mind, in fact its kinda flattering, my real problem is that whoever does this is not showing a true image of the actual record they are selling. The condition of old 1960's & 70's records varies greatly, no two are in exactly the same condition when they are this age. We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.
