HERE WE HAVE AN AMAZINGLY RARE FULL SET!!!!! of Led Zeppelin’s OUTSTANDING "In Through The Out Door" LPs, IN SUPERB CONDITION!!!
ALL THE RECORDS ARE UK 1st Pressings on LED ZEPPELIN’S Swan Song LABEL!!!! AND ALL ARE COMPLETE WITH THEIR THICK CARD INNER SLEEVES AND ORIGINAL OUTER BROWN PAPER BAGS!!
A FULL SET OF THESE LPs IS SERIOUSLY RARE (AS UK PRESSINGS!!!) ESPECIALLY IN SUCH WONDERFUL CONDITION!! AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!
ISSUED IN 1979 THIS LP WAS SOLD WITH 6 DIFFERENT COVERS - EACH INDIVIDUALLY LABELLED A,B,C,D,E, & F ON THE SPINE
HOWEVER, THE LPs WERE SOLD INSIDE BROWN PAPER BAGS - SO IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHICH COVER & LETTER YOU HAD - UNTIL YOU GOT THE LP HOME AND OPENED IT!!!! AS A RESULT FINDING A COMPLETE 'A TO F' FULL SET OF THESE LPs IS SERIOUSLY RARE!!! (the previous owner must have spent a fortune buying loads of copies until they finally had a complete set)!!!
ALSO SOME LETTERS WERE PRESSED IN VERY LIMITED NUMBERS ('A' BEING THE MOST COMMON AND 'E' BEING THE HARDEST TO FIND)
BUT WHAT MAKES THIS 6-LP SET EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION!!!! ALL COMPONENTS: THE BROWN OUTER BAGS, THE MATTE SLEEVES, THE 'MAGIC PAINT' THICK CARD INNERS, AND THE RECORDS THEMSELVES ARE ALL IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!
AND THE WHOLE SET IS THE COMPLETE FIRST ISSUE ORIGINAL UK RELEASE!! (sometimes continental (especially German) Bags & Inners are found in place of the UK originals – but not here!! (see below)


UK ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS CRITERIA:

FIRSTLY: ALL THE 6 VINYL’S HAVE THE CORRECT UK 1ST PRESS 'MANUFACTURED IN THE UK' TEXT ON EACH OF THE LABELS, 'STRAWBERRY' STAMPED IN THE RUN OFF GROOVES, AND THE CORRECT 1ST PRESS A5/B5 MATRIX!!!
SECONDLY: ALL OF THE 6 'MAGIC PAINT' INNER SLEEVES HAVE THE CORRECT 'PRINTED AND MADE IN ENGLAND' TEXT!!!!
THIRDLY: ALL 6 OF THE BROWN OUTER BAGS HAVE THE CORRECT UK CAT NUMBER 'SSK 59410' AND TEXT '© 1979 A SWAN SONG RECORDING DISTRIBUTED BY WEA RECORDS LIMITED'.
THE UK ISSUE BROWN OUTER BAGS ALSO HAVE DISTINCTIVE PRINTED LINES (continental bags are plain brown)
AND FINALLY: ALL 6 OF THE 'A TO F' MATTE SLEEVES HAVE THE '© 1979 A SWAN SONG RECORDING' and 'SSK 59410' SPINE TEXT!!!! (continental sleeves have “STEREO” printed on the spine SO ANY SLEEVE WITH 'STEREO' ON THE SPINE IS NOT A UK SLEEVE!!)


LABELS: ALL the labels on ALL of the 6 records are in SUPERB condition with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! THESE RECORDS HAVE HAD VERY LITTLE PLAY AND IN SOME CASES I WOULD SAY VIRTUALLY NO PLAY AT ALL!!!!
VINYLS Visual: All of the vinyls have a their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN. Most of them are COMPLETELY UNMARKED but a couple have a few surface marks but these are of NO MAJOR AUDIO CONSEQUENCE WHATSOEVER (see audio below)!!!
VINYLS Audio: All 6 records are in SUPERB condition!!! They all play with NO scratches, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY click/pops/surface noise (hardly ANY AT ALL!!!) And the sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groove-wear and NO distortion!!!! A couple of them look and sound completely UNPLAYED!!! One of the albums plays with a little surface noise in some of the quieter sections - nothing too major!! and is graded VERY GOOD+ but the other 5 must be graded EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ !!! A SUPERB SET OF LPs!!!!!
SLEEVES: The FULL SET of GENUINE UK 1st Press 6 Different Picture Sleeves (Individually marked with A to F on the spine), are ALL in BEAUTIFUL condition!!!! Protected by their outer Brown Bags they all have a virtually new appearance!! Some light creasing to the spine and very, very slight corner ‘bumping’ only!!! Very, VERY minor!! BEAUTIFUL SLEEVES!!!!!!
INNER SLEEVES: The ORIGINAL UK 1st Press, Thick Card 'Magic Paint' inner sleeves are all in SUPERB condition!!!! CLEAN and UNMARKED but with most importantly, NO splits on ANY of them!!!!! Only one of the Inners has ‘coloured up’ which is AMAZING as all you have to do is BREATHE on these inners and their colouring magically appears!!!
All the LPs are now housed - and will be posted in - new inner sleeves (along with the originals, of course!!!) as I believe inner sleeves should be used as inserts ONLY as they nearly always cause damage to the LP over time (especially thick card ones, like these)!!
BROWN PAPER BAG OUTER SLEEVES: All in lovely condition!!! NO tears or splits!!! One or two have light marks (nothing serious) and feathering to the opening edge but this is hardly surprising as the top edge stands above the cover and is easily frayed!!! One bag still has the original shrink-wrap on!! SUPERB!!
