Description

Original deep-groove "ear" pressing of Kenny Dorham "Afro-Cuban" on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1535.  The flat-rim playing surface has a few superficial, inaudible marks, but basically has a high luster and appears to have been played perhaps two three times.  The non-laminated kakabuchi-style cover has the Lexington Avenue address: 3 3/4" split/wear on bottom seam, starting at the opening; rubbing to all seams - but no other splits or significant wear - with varying degrees of loss/flaking of color.  Back slick shows light shelf-wear, flaking along right edge, and light foxing. 

Personnel includes Hank Mobley, Cecil Payne, Horace Silver, and Art Blakey.
