Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of “Jutta Hipp” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1530. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. Original inner sleeve is included. The coated reverse frame Lexington Avenue cover is clean and bright throughout. There is a 3” split at the opening where previous owner taped the top seam; the tape has come off, leaving a light ¼” discoloration along the front and a ½” stain at the top of the back slick; prices stamped and marked at the top right corner of the back slick. Personnel include Zoot Sims, Jerry Lloyd, Ahmed Abdul-Malik, and Ed Thigpen. $3000.00
