*** VERY COLLECTIBLE, ORIGINAL VERSION of John Lennon and Plastic Ono Band (Yoko Ono) 1970 Record & PICTURE SLEEVE - "MOTHER" b/w "Why" - (APPLE 1827) ***
Below is a description (to the best of my ability) of the record and picture sleeve:
45 rpm Record - NEVER PLAYED SO MINT, NO writing on label (on either side), NO ink markings on label (on either side) Picture Sleeve - NM, NO writing on either side of sleeve, except for price on top of one side of sleeve (see scan), few tiny tears at very top of sleeve, Classic Picture of John Lennon and Yoko Ono lying under a tree.
Considering the scarcity this is a beuty! And this is my very last one.
I've sold a few before this and they never went for less than $100.
In fact someone recently sold one for almost $140 and that one had a picture sleeve with a considerable amount of damage with writing and tares including splits in the seams. ANd yet it went for almost $140. That is how rare this Lennon collectible is!!!!So this is a great opportunity to add a real rarity to your colllection.
This is the kind of rare item you can buy as an early Christmas present and put away till December because it's the kind of gift that leaves a collector speechless.
