Description

Original First Press Blie Train by John Coltrane, BN 1577.  I believe this is an original first pressing of this Blue Note release.  47 west 63rd labels, deep grooves, ear, RVG, 9M in the deadwax, no “R” on the labels and no “Inc.” on the back cover.  Vinyl has numerous scratches and scuffs, nothing that is really feelable.  The record plays great, with crackle in pop in the background that doesn’t overwhelm the sound, which is characteristically loud and clear as in early BNs.  Cover is intact with its original gloss, but is definitely aged, with chipping on the edges.
