Description
I had my friend who buys and sells records grade this for me. He said it is a solid VG-. I played it all the way through and there are no skips or repeats. When played, It has some normal light background “scratchiness” to it. Some light pops here and there. You can see light scratches but not to the touch. There is a 1.5” long split on seem edge (see pic). I have not cleaned the record. Hope that is enough info. Let me know if you need more info. Oh yeah, spindle marks on the center near the hole.
I pack well and have record shipping boxes plus will add cardboard on outside to extra protect.
I use Goldmines grading and this is VG-. Here is what they say...
“Very Good [VG]: Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.”
