Description

 Howlin' Wolf - Moanin' In The Moonlight  CHESS  1434   [1959]  original black label SHELDON pressing

cover defects -    taped at the top and bottom very light staining but nothing to distract---no writing stamps or stickers

 vinyl is    VG  to VG+ 7.5  has some light surface noise at times but nothing to distract---I would almost give it an 8 but I don't want to overgrade  there are no deep scratches  --if you use a new stylus it will sound nice --good sonics

PLEASE NOTE:  this is the copy I sold two weeks ago to an individual in Europe who had the audacity to question the originality of it  and was returned and refunded promptly--but let me say this --as you can see it is not the mid 60s blue labels  nor is it GRT, All Platinum, MCA or any overseas pressing. it clearly has SHELDON in the dead wax --it does not have the swaying eccentric center groove as they were being done away with in 1959
