Description
Hawkwind Space Ritual original press with limited edition insert that came with the earliest copies and with inner sleeves that are not damaged in anyway with no creases, seam splits or opening tears.
The six fold out cover is in a strong EX condition with very mild signs of wear to the edges - please see the photos and see how easily the writing is still legible.
There is very mild ring where to the top and bottom of the front of the sleeve but apart from that this is a superior copy of this album that is usually a fair bit more tired than this.
The spine is still strong with only one tiny area where the paper beneath is showing through, the bottom corners are lightly worn.
Overall the paper cover feels firm, strong and still contains the stiffness in the light card that it had when it was produced. All the panels on the inside are in mint condition
Side 1 UAD 60037 A - 2 U with “RAYS” and “11 0” in the dead wax
Side 2 UAD 60037 B - 2 U and “OP” in the dead wax.
Record one is in beautiful condition both sides and is it least an EX+ with barely any signs of wear. Furthermore, I can’t see any spindle marks around the centre hole.
Side 3 UAD 60038 A - 2 U and “11” in the dead wax
Side 4 UAD 60038 B - 2 U and “11” in the dead wax
Record two is in beautiful condition as well with just some very light surface marks on side three that do you not sound in anyway. Neither side has any spindle marks.
Overall these records look barely played and as such look completely different to the usual copies of space ritual that we normally find.
Both of the Inner sleeves are of the same colour, normally one is much paler than the other, and best of all neither of them have any seem splits whatsoever, they feel nice and firm and crisp to the touch.
This early copy comes with the very limited four fold out insert that came with the very early copies of this LP. There are some small signs of wear so it does not look brand-new however it fits perfectly with the rest of the album, I never displayed it and always always treated it with the same respect I treated the rest of this copy of space ritual.
