Description
You are bidding on the LP Gene Vincent Rocks and the Blue Caps Roll on Capitol. This is a promotional LP with a yellow Capitol label. This LP dates 1958. The label on the record states Sample Album for Radio-Tv program use. It is LP # T970. I'll describe it best I can. The front cover has a "Promo Not for Sale" sticker on it. The seems have been taped with clear tape all the way around. There is no writing or anything on the front of the cover just normal wear. Maybe some slight yellowing. On the back of the cover there is a name written in black ink about 1 inch by 1/2 inch. There are also a couple of notes written in blue ball point ink. They are written neatly and appear to be from DJ's or other radio or record personnel. They mention WEBO and Waxworks, Top 41 and Off the Record. I actually think these add to this Promo record. The back does show some yellowing due to age. (See Pics) The record is still glossy and shiny. Thick Vinyl. It does have scratches and scuffs. It has the yellow capital label. I played it on an old record player and it did decent. One side seemed really good while the other had some pops and crackles. No Skips. I would give both the record and cover a 6 out of 10.
