Description

"Tenor Conclave" - UK Esquire 32-059, A-side dead wax states PRLP 7074-A, RVG AB 1C, B-side states PRLP 7074-B RVG AB 1 (B I think, hard to tell). Recorded Sept. 7th 1956.
Lovely album featuring Hank Mobley, Al Cohn, Zoot Sims, John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Art Taylor. Four tracks, Tenor Conclave / Just you, just me / Bob's Boys / How deep is the ocean.
Front cover has some creasing, all spines are undamaged, extreme corners have light wear. Rear cover lightly soiled with two small areas of laminate damage, one on the bottom flipback, the other on the top of the open edge.
Both labels are nice and clean. The vinyl is unwarped, it doesn't stick or jump. There are a couple of noticable marks, though they don't sound when played. I'd describe this as a very good playing copy, though not mint. There is light background, especially on the run-ins, but even on the quietest track, "How deep is the ocean", it's pretty unobtrusive.
