"Mobley's Message" Hank Mobley, UK Esquire 32-029 A-side dead wax states PRLP 7061-A, RVG AB 1B, B-side states PRLP 7061-B RVG AB 1B. Recorded July 20th 1956.

Featuring Hank Mobley, Barry Harris, Doug Watkins, Art Taylor, Donald Byrd and Jackie McLean. Six tracks, Bouncing with Bud / Fifty-Second Street Theme / Minor Disturbance / Au Privave / Little girl blue / Alternating Current.

Front cover has minimal wear, tiny mark centre open edge. Centre vertical spine has laminate damage, all spines otherwise clean. Very extreme corners lightly worn. Rear cover is more soiled, some red staining, flipbacks clean and undamaged.

Both labels are nice and clean, it's unwarped, doesn't jump or stick. There are a few noticable marks and some background throughout. None of the marks sound specifically and the background is fairly unobtrusive, most noticable on the A-side run-in and first few bars. After the first track there's less background, though "little girl blue" is a very quiet track so what background there is of course more noticable. So it's not mint by any means, rather it's a good playing copy.
