This is the ultra rare very first issue and first record ever by Vantage Records, Hamp Hawes Trio. This is VLP-1 10" LP on red vinyl. This issue has the very first issue cover with the simple red text version as opposed to the later photo cover. It is in good condition with good solid seams but has ink pen writing on the back cover. The disc is in good condition with some light paper scuffs and a few rub marks but nothing that you can feel and it plays great without any skips. The selections are "Hamp's Paws", "Buzzy", "All the Things You Are", "Another Hairdo", "These Foolish Things" and "Hamps Claws".
I purchased a small but very rare vintage Jazz Record collection that I will be auctioning off over the next few weeks. There are some very rare formats and record labels in the batch. Bookmark my site tybz and check back often!
