Description

Fantastic copy of Donovan's 1971 LP."HMS Donovan".

Recorded between 1968 and 1971,many of the tracks were based on "One Hundred Poems for Children" by Herbert Strang.

Lewis Carroll,W,B.Yeats,and Edward Lear's poems also feature.

Paul Mc.Cartney was present at the recordings of "The Walrus and The Carpenter","Mr.Wind" and "The Unicorn".

"Celia of The Seals" was written by Donovan for Celia Hammond,a well known ex-model who now runs an animal shelter in East London.

The album cover is in excellent condition,with just a few minor bumps on the edges,the poster is perfect.

As far as I can see the records themselves look perfect,I will examine them further,if requested.
