Description
You are looking at quite an interesting and rare Bruce Springsteen double package - An Irish pressing of the classic LP Born In The USA as well as an invitation for Bruce's gig at Slane Castle in 1985. The LP seldom comes up for auction let alone a rare invite promo item from the era
The LP is an Irish Pressing which you can see from the pictures is clearly marked 'Record Mfd. In Ireland' on both labels at the 6 O'Clock Position. It comes in a white half die cut inner with the printed inner as well (VG). It is pressed on translucent brown vinyl (when under light) and has a double dip label and the correct CBS fonts of the day. Both labels are in very good order. The sleeve is VG+ and the spine intact and fully readable. The record has had little play and looks, plays a comfortable VG+
The ticket invitation was originally sent by CBS Ireland to well known Irish radio presenter Jimmy Greeley https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Greeley
It is presented in a cut in the left hand jeans pocket of the Born In The USA sleeve (see main pic). The sleeve is VG+. The ticket is also in very good order with no marks or writing etc (pic 2). The sleeve is company sealed\glued and cannot take a record
