Description
Once in a lifetime opportunity to own a very rare mono original copy of Grachan Moncur iii Evolution in good+ condition along with a silver gelatin print of a session photo from Francis Wolff’s original negative. NOT a digital transfer, but the actual negative. Photo was purchased directly from Michael Cuscuna (holder of Wolff’s original Blue Note photography negatives/copyright). Photo image is 7.5”x7.5”, printed by Lenny Lum for Cuscuna. Features Moncur along with Lee Morgan and Jackie McLean. BLP 4153 Vinyl has surface noise, especially in quiet sections, and some scratches, but plays all the way through and sounds great. Jacket has tape and marks. See photos.
