There have been so few vinyl LPs produced over the last 5 years that you should never pass up the opportunity to upgrade your collection. They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever! Don't second-guess yourself with this chance to upgrade your collection because before you know it, the opportunity will have passed forever.

“Classic Quiex SV - Super Vinyl" is a new vinyl formulation noticeably superior to all previous vinyl formulas used. The music on records made using Classic Quiex SV is more detailed, has richer harmonics and a more precise soundstage presentation Quiex SV will be used exclusively after September, 2003 and will have a sticker that identifies them as such. So, sit back, relax, enjoy the music, and remember the sound...

ABACAB - 180 Gram Limited Edition Simply Vinyl classic LP (made in England - best protective packaging ) high-definition Virgin Vinyl pressing for superior fidelity. The nicest thing you can do for your stylus and your ears. The ultimate record -- the way music was meant to be heard and of superior quality for any Audiophile.

ABACAB features the deadly trio of Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford at their commercial zenith. Although not a singles band, Genesis still kept a healthy line of hits rolling (especially in the US) with releases like solid rocking Keep It Dark? (No.33 UK 1981), the Earth, Wind & Fire assisted No Reply At All (No.29 US 1981), the pounding title track Abacab (No.26 US 1982) and the atmospheric Man In The Corner (No.41 UK, No.40 US 1982).

ABACAB would become Genesis best-selling album in the US so far, selling 2 million units in the process before future albums Genesis, Invisible Touch and We Cant Dance cleaned-up throughout the rest of the 80s and the early 90s. For collectors of Genesis this is yet another essential package which is just so much better on beautiful 180 gram vinyl.>

DUKE - 180 Gram Limited Edition Simply Vinyl classic LP (made in England - heavy quality sleeves) high-definition Virgin Vinyl pressing for superior fidelity. Welcome to the awesome DUKE (No.1 UK, No.11 US 1980). DUKE was Genesis first ever No.1 album and it finally provided them with a firm foothold in the USA via some of the great singles from the album, namely, the strutting Turn It On Again (No.8 UK, No.58 US 1980), the sprightly Duchess (No.46 UK 1980) and the excellent Misunderstanding (No.14 US, No.42 UK 1980).

DUKE was the album via which Genesis finally managed to shed their heavy progressive rock tag and start to branch out a bit more especially with the additional confidence of Phil Collins vocals after replacing Peter Gabriel. The result was an album which boosted their worldwide audience massively and paved the way for both Genesis and Phil Collins later success. As many reviewers said at the time there have been bigger Genesis albums but none have anywhere near as much heart.

GENESIS - SELF/TITLED - 180 Gram Limited Edition Simply Vinyl classic LP (made in England - heavy quality sleeves) high-definition Virgin Vinyl pressing for superior fidelity. No.1 UK, No.9 US 1983) is pretty much the album which broke the band internationally selling multi-millions in the process. Primarily fuelled by the lead single Mama (No.4 UK 1983) the album got off to a rocket start with Thats All (No.16 UK, No.6 US 1983), Illegal Alien (No.46 UK, No.44 US) and Taking All Too Hard (No.50 US) providing further growth on the singles charts. A lot of the bands popularity must be put down to Phil Collins solo success around the same time, although it has to be said that the trio of Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford had definitely forged their own highly distinctive sound by the end of the 1970s and early 1980s. First time on 180gram vinyl.

A NURSERY CRYME -. This Classic Limited Edition Audiophile LP was mastered from the Original Session Tapes to 180 Gram Heavy Virgin Vinyl. Enter Phil Collins and Steve Hackett for a set that eclipsed its predecessor (seventies TRESPASS) in technical ability. The 10-minute opener "The Music Box" benefiting from jazz influenced playing was a far cry from the delicate folk rock tapestries and chiming 12-string guitars of its predecessor. The infusion of a semi-classical structural sensibility had become more prevalent. Fragile ballads are at a minimum replaced by driving classic rock epics full with heavy guitar, baselines, and sweeping mellotrone. The sound occasionally recalls the refined but uncompromising instrumental attack of the Nice (particularly in Tony Banks/Keith Emerson-ish blast of organ bravura). The interlocking guitar and folky moments are still present, however, providing contrast to NURSERY CRYME's bolder moments.

The group's sophisticated compositional style and Peter Gabriel's eccentric lyrics are at their height on "The Return Of The Giant Hogweed", "The Fountain Of Slamacis" and "The Music Box".

SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND. This Classic Limited Edition Audiophile LP was mastered from the Original Session Tapes to 180 Gram Heavy Virgin Vinyl.. Critics stated about this LP EXCELLENT. Deeper than anything they previously tried. Dancing With The Moonlit Night and The Cinema Show are genuinely moving. If someone had to pare the prog-rock story down to a handful of essential albums, this would undoubtedly be one of them.

Peter Gabriel's startlingly unpretentious tale-spinning is at its best on the Battle of Epping Forest. Tony Banks eloquent, sophisticated keyboard work is a key element of nearly every tune and the electric/acoustic tapestry woven by Steve Hackett and Mike Rutherford is the perfect icing on the cake. Somewhat ambitious but entirely welcome is the Gabriel-era bands catchiest/quirkiest song I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe). The tale of a somewhat daft gardener. Phil Collins Lead Vocal on the gorgeous acoustic ballad More Fool Me paints the shape of things to come. If you only buy one GENESIS Album, make this the one. Also included are Firth of Fifth -After The Ordeal Aisle of Plenty.

FOX TROT. This Classic Limited Edition Audiophile LP was mastered from the Original Session Tapes to 180 Gram Heavy Virgin Vinyl. Their breakthrough album dominated by Suppers Ready a 23 minute epic - , which finds Peter Gabriel managing to sound soulful while singing such lines as a young figure sits by the pool, hes been stamped human bacon by some butchery tool. This composition would become GENESIS diehards most beloved tune and is a gem of the seventies progressive rock era. Easily the most angular and eccentric GENESIS Album, and is where Peter Gabriels lyricism bears full fruit. Get Em Out By Friday and Watcher Of The Skies brim with Gabriels quirky combination of poetics, politics, and philosophy with the tricky beat signatures that are early GENESIS trademarks.

LIVE - From very early on, Genesis was intensely interested in the staging of live shows. This wasnt just a concert, and this is not just a live album. It is filled with moments of power (the closing section of Musical Box) -- not so subtle political commentary (Get Em Out By Friday) and even humor when a bass string is errantly sounded between songs and Peter Gabriel announces That was an unaccompanied bass solo by Michael Rutherford. It is a perfect representation of a group of brilliant young men who took their music very seriously, but never themselves. This recording shows them in their elemental form. Other included tracks are: The Return Of The Giant Hogweed -The Knife Watcher Of The Skies.
