DREAMING
GECKO 1986

This is an older 1986 recording once available on CD as well as LP. Following on McBroom's success with her recording, Growing up in Hollywood Town on Sheffield Labs ( highly recommended as a direct to disc, and, of course, now long out of print). Amanda came out with this recording sponsored by Monster Cable.
Of course Monster cables were used throughout and so the recording has a most definite Monster tonality: a generally warmer sound. For those who may not know, McBroom wrote the hit tune "The Rose", which Bette Midler made famous.
This disc consists of ten tunes she has written. Like Beth N. Chapman, she has a very sensitive nature and it shows in her writing. The tunes have a great melody line and her singing is quite good. The recording is also very well done as Monster certainly had the financial backing to make a very audiophile recording.
NOT PLAY-GRADED.
VINYL is clean and very shiny VG++, almost NM. There are a couple of very light sleeve/scuff marks that should not affect playability or generate any noise at all.
COVER is VG+ with just a couple of very minor bumps.
