Freak Out! PROMO COPY - Frank Zappa, The Mothers Of Invention.
For sale I have a 'Frankenstein' promo copy of Freak Out. At one point I purchased the jacket and record 1, and later another promo jacket and LP 2. I never had the heart to combine them since both jackets have interesting history in them. The jacket of record 1 includes 'Compliments of FZ' in the top right gatefold, so who knows who wrote that or who received the LP. The jacket of record 2 has the date written in the top right on the front, right around the time of Freak Out's release. Cool stuff.
The condition of the records is poor ~~ I consider this only to be a collectable! If I recall it played with no skips, but the condition is rough and lots of crackles and pops from beginning to end.
