Up for auction this week I am offering an interesting mix of LP Records and more. This LP is : Franklin & Hayes - Autumn to May - Stereo - WR Productions WR-69. This is a truly scarce private press folk LP out of Ohio (?) featuring Ron Franklin & Ann Hayes. There are some drums, bongos, bass and guitar on this LP but the vibe is more folky. Good singing. The cover is in VG maybe better condition with ring wear, a name in pen as pictured and storage wear. Edges are tight except bottom right edge near the open mouth of the LP, it's just starting to split there. The LP has many signs of play and rates VG to VG-. I listened to the LP and it did not skip but plays VG to VG-. You can hear the clips below and judge for yourself. Some songs play better than others. There is a mix of originals and covers on the LP. Tracks are : FROM AUTUMN TO SPRING, LEAVING ON A JET PLANE, I AM A ROCK, TALKING CANDY BAR BLUES, CAROLINA GOODTIMES, THEME FOR A DRIFTER, SING A SONG FOR PAMELA, SPRING RAIN, FOUR STRONG WINDS, TRAMP ON THE STREET, IT AIN'T ME BABE & MAYBE TOMORROW. There may be a touch of Xian on this one, either way I have been hanging onto this for YEARS and I have never seen it turn up on ebay or any site for sale ever. They give it 5 Stars on the Rare scale? This is totally playable and won't skip but it's as I described already. Great for the collection until you can find another in better condition... that is IF you can find another at all? Reserve is $40.
