Classic VERTIGO SWIRL-release from UK´s finest FREEDOM. You all know how essential this act is in any serious record collection, so…

COVER; The unlaminated gatefold cover has some MINOR rubbing round the edges and a little bumped corners. The backcover has a faint beginning of ringwear on bottom and top. Nothing too serious, I would say. VERY close to NEAR MINT! But we´ll settle for a very conservative VERY GOOD PLUS for everyones convenience.

VINYL; When held under strong light, the vinyl shows GREAT lustre with no other defects than the occasional paperscuff and some VERY light scuffs on track A1.But visually clearly a NEAR MINT-vinyl! When giving the record a spin on my REGA PS3 turntable, there are some distant static crackle between some of the tracks and in some of the more quiet passages. There are som light "pops" occassionally. The very mellow track "Thanks" has some MINOR crackle. But again; nothing too serious. My guess is that these MINOR defects are evident on the entire edition. A very conservative VERY GOOD PLUS. (Please note again that I DO NOT use the term excellent according to Goldmine Grading Standards.)

LABELS; Both labels are very clean with some very light spindlemarks, indicating that this record has been played carefully and probably a handful of times at most.

INNERSLEEVE; Has the original VERTIGO innersleeve - with the text "plastic bags can be…etc" and with the numbers 0671 on bottom left - in more than decent condition. A little yellowing round the edges, a bending at one of the glued edges. The plastic inner is still there, but is a bit creased.

I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. I only use the term "MINT" when the record is factory sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. MY GRADING IS STRICT and winning bidder ALWAYS has full refund minus shipping costs! PLEASE E-MAIL IF ANY CONCERNS! THANK YOU AND HAPPY BIDDING!

GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS

MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
