Foggy – Simple Gifts

VERY RARE English folk/acoustic/psych
I estimate this record has been in my collection for at least 30 years. In fact it was well hidden and I had completely forgotten I had it! Whilst in my possession I would say it will have been played no more than 4 times. Has been stored upright between other records in a smoke free home.
Vinyl has high gloss. Labels are clean with only a couple of spindle marks.
Dead wax markings:
Side 1: Stamped XZAL -11685 P-1 ; also etched A1 and DB.
Mother/stamper markings (?): 1 , H* , JT (*unclear but I think it is an H)
Side 2: Stamped XZAL -11686 P-1 ; also etched B1 and DB.
Mother/stamper markings (?): 1 , D , JT
Side A:
The music plays bright and clear throughout.
1 hairline end of track 4 start of track5 (does not affect play).
Side B
The music plays bright and clear throughout.
There is a mark that runs right across the surface at 90degrees to the play direction. It is not a scratch and I hesitate to call it a scuff. It is possible it was introduced during manufacture. Importantly this DOES NOT AFFECT PLAY at all.
Cover:
Shows slight ring wear, minor creasing around edges. There are a few small yellowy brown marks, which could be foxing(?). Seams and spine are intact and show no wear. The corners show slight wear.
An excellent example of a record that is now nearing 40 years old.

Mint minus (M-) cover – like new, with no defects vinyl – like new, likely played only a few times, no surface marks, no sound defects
Excellent (EX) cover – shows signs of minor wear & creasing vinyl – slight superficial marks that do not affect play
Very Good (VG) cover – normal wear & tear on the cover, light ring wear for example vinyl – shows marks & light scratches that do not have a major effect on the sound quality
Good (G) cover – has scuffing of edges, ring wear, large split spine etc vinyl – scratches and scuffs, will play thru but there will be surface noise and/or pops and clicks.
A + or - indicates minor variations in grading.
