Fantastic Dee - Jays--The Fantastic Dee - Jays--Stone SLP 4003, mono. Original 60s pressing of pre-Swamp Rats group from McKeesport, PA. Record was never released in stereo. Vinyl grades at VG - . Normal scratches and scuffs from record being played and not being stored in a sleeve--no deep scratches and no skips. These were good vinyl pressings and the record plays much better than it looks--still an enjoyable listen. Cover is also VG - . These albums were mainly sold at dances and at local shops in the Pittsburgh area with almost no promotion and very poor distribution--they were never sealed in shrinkwrap and the stock used for the covers was inferior, so even the better existing copies have wear. Seams on this one are intact, but worn; the corners have cardboard exposed. Bottom right corner is creased and black marker writing on upper right. Labels are clean. Cool early garage artifact and tough to find in any condition ! ! !
