Description
This is an original vintage hard to find 45 RPM record by that cat Elvis Presley titled: "Mystery Train", backed with "I Forgot To Remember To Forget". This was released in 1955 on Sun Records #223. Condition of the record is very good plus to mint minus, with some very light user wear. We played both sides, and it plays mint minus, with very little background noise. This is rare for just about any Sun pressing. This doesn't appear to have been played very much. There is a lot of shine on this record. There are no cracks or chips anywhere. The center spindle hole is nice with no tears or wear. The labels on both sides are beautiful & clean, with very little wear, & as with all of the pressings on Sun #223, ther are no push marks. The Mystery Train side label is slightly printed off center. (see photo) Also, the deadwax information is: On the "I forgot" side- 45-J-157X then a 3/8" space, and then the #20. On the Mystery Train side- 45-J or U-156X then a 3/8" space, and then the #20. On the Mystery Train side the J looks more like a U. This is guarenteed to be a 1955 pressing of this record, and one of the nicest condition Mystery Train 45's we have seen. This rare & early Elvis 45 would look wonderful framed!
