Description

An RIAA sales award presented to Elvis Presley to commerate the sale of more than one million copies  of the RCA op singles record "In The Ghetto." The song was penned by the then relatively unknown songwriter/singer Mac Davis. This song much like Elvis' 1968's "If I Can Dream" Elvis is taking yet anothr step in his development as a serious contemporary artist. Elvis  whom had always avoided making any sort of political statement in the  1960's loved Mac Davis' "In  The Ghetto" and  decided he must record it..an song about an inner-city morality tale that points the finger at social and racial injustice. The song appeared on Elvis' highly acclaimed "From Elvis In Memphis." In good condition with few nicks to frame with original "New York Frame & Picture Co." sticker on back. Approximate overall size 13 X !7 inches. Payment by cashiers  check or money  order is due within 5 days of auctions end. Shipping/insurance will be an additional $22.95. Overseas buyers your rate will vary from this. Please contact me if you wish to bid.Thank you for looking and good luck bidding.
