ELVIS PRESLEY 7" vinyl Rock N Roll record AIN'T THAT LOVIN YOU BABY.
A MASSIVELY RARE Elvis Presley single on RCA Records from 1964.
RCA 1422.
'A' Side: Ain't That Loving You Baby.
'B' Side: Ask Me (lo).
Highest UK chart position number 15 in October 1964.
The record 'A' side playgrades at Excellent Minus condition.
The record 'B' side playgrades at VG Plus with a little crackle on the intro and quieter passages.
The 'A' side label has the large 'A' across the entire label and the wording:
DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE. It also has the text:
RELEASE DATE 23/10/1964
The 'B' side label also has the text:
DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE.
There is a small splodge of what looks like red paint on the 'A' side label and the pop out centre looks like it has been re-stuck to fix in place (see pics). I have reflected this in the lower starting price.
The Correct and original Company Sleeve grades at Excellent Plus (However I have simply swapped this from my non Demo copy of the same single because its original sleeve was extremely tatty. (If the purchaser wants the original sleeve for completeness I can post this with the single).
I am aware that play grading is in the ears of the listener but I have graded this honestly. Despite its minor visual faults this is a massively rare piece of Elvis history and one which never comes up for sale. Try and find another. I am selling at a low price as a fellow Elvis collector.
