Very rare spanish album from Andres Lewin-Richter with mind-blowing electroacoustic experiments plus use of the Lasry-Baschet instruments.

Some info on the release: New / unplayed copy from a recently rediscovered stock of this legendary electronic work from famous spanish electronic music composer, collaborator of Edgar Varese, Alwin Nikolais and Mario Davidovsky. Lewin-Richter is well known from his appearence on the "Electronic Music" compilation on Turnabout together with Ilhan Mimaroglu.

Lewin-Richter passed some years in USA at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music centre and when returning to Spain, he founded back in 1968 the Laboratory of Electronic Music in Barcelona, the first electronic studio in the country. "Musica Eletroacustica" contains nearly all his electronic works, released in Spain, by small independent Hemisferio label (where appeared the Xavier Joaquin interpreta Obras de Iannis Xenakis, Yoshihisa Taira and Richter). With "Fontecilla Mix II, Baschetiada (a tribute to the famous Lasry-Baschet sound sculptures), Densidades, Estudio I, Estudio II...again.. It's like if you're listening to Pierre Henry, Bernard Parmegiani or Karlheinz Stockhausen and their musique concrete experiments!! Richter was the real pioneer in electronic music composition in Spain with Jesus Villa-Rojo, Tomas Marco, Luis de Pablo and Josep-Maria Mestres-Quadreny, the unforgettable Musica Electronica Libre It Viaje, plus the Musica Electroacustica Espanola compilations with Antonio Russek, Adolfo Nunez, Miguel Angel Coria and Juan Hidalgo.

Condition: Vinyl and cover lie in mint / unplayed condition.
