Description
David Bowie's first record LISA JANE/LOUIE LOUIE GO HOMEon Vocalion Pop V9221 published 1964 as DAVIE JONES and THE KING BEES, 'demonstration sample not for sale' on the label. This is an original copy of David Bowie's first record and is an extremely sought after item of which only around 100 copies were made,(see Record Collector Magazine issue number 224 July 2004), the record has a number of surface marks but plays very well, it is one of the rarest records on the market today. I am willing to fax the relevent information from the above mentioned magazine if required.
On 24-Oct-04 at 14:29:58 BST, seller added the following information: Additional information. The record is in it's original Vocalion sleeve, there is a number written in black felt pen in the corner. As I have previously stated there are a number of surface marks,I placed a low starting price because of this.Bearing in mind,as quoted in the Record Collector mag.,it is worth a considerable amount of money in any condition. Anything else I can tell you, please let me know.
