Description

Very nice original 1959 Blue Note album by Donald Byrd: "Byrd In The Hand". Six tracks: "Witchcraft", " Here Am I", "Devil Whip", "Bronze Dance", "Clarion Calls" & "The Injuns". Personnel: Donald Byrd- Trumpet, Charlie Rouse- Tenor Sax, Pepper Adams- Baritone Sax, Walter Davis Jr.- Piano, Sam Jones- Bass & Art Taylor- Drums.

Original 1959 US pressing on Blue Note Records, 47 West 63rd- NYC (BLP 4019). Vinyl is VG++, some light scratches from occasional, not heavy, play on Side One. Side Two appears barely played. "CBC" embossed in label likely indicating a former radio station copy. Label stamped with date "Mar-9 1960". "RVG" stamped in dead groove of vinyl.

Cover is VG++, discolouration from removed tape on rear, stamped with date as on label. All seams intact, nice glossy cover in excellent condition, complete with anti-static inner sleeve. 

Carefully-kept, lightly-played original Ble Note copy!!

All records kept with protective plastic outer sleeves, carefully packed & shipped in a new cardboard record mailer. Conservative visual grading only. Buyer agrees to pay cost of shipping.
