DEREK BAILEY New Sights, Old Sounds Orig Morgue 2xLP Japan Signed! Very Rare!
Stunning original copy of this very rare Derek Bailey solo double-LP album, a Japan-only release on the Morgue label. This beautiful copy has the addition of a rare signature and dedication from Bailey himself, nicely done on the front cover, that reads ‘For Chris/Best Wishes/Derek Bailey/5 Feb 88’ . The gatefold sleeve is in perfect condition, as good as new: Sleeve Ex++. Vinyl looks as if it could be unplayed: Ex++. By far the best copy of this rare side that has ever passed through our hands, with a personal dedication from the late guitarist. Bailey’s playing is staggering on this, and the guitarist himself rated it as one of his favourite recordings. Released on the legendary Japanese music critic Aquirax Aida’s short-lived private press Morgue imprint. Bailey dedicated Aida to him. The rarest Bailey side? Very rarely offered and never in this condition.
