This is a beautiful boxed set.  LPs and accompanying booklets are encased in an ornately decorated, heavy wooden box, with separate partitions for each specific opera.  Each section has its own wooden 3/4 sleeve, with decorative gold titles on the spine.  Each opera is accompanied by a full-size booklet, which includes cast list, illustrations/photographs, synopsis and transcript.
A lovely, highly sought-after item.

ITEM CONDITION
Very good.  A few minor signs of wear on the inner casing surfaces, some sleeve edges and some booklet covers.
All records are in excellent condition, with no visible signs of wear on the vinyl or labels.
A few of the vinyl cardboard sleeves have some very light rubbing on some edges and some faint scuffs on the glossy covers.
The inner wooden section casings have some small signs of wear, most likely resulting from general rubbing when removed from the outer box.  Small scuff on the wooden 3/4 sleeve of the 'Introduction' section, as shown in the photographs.  On each of the 3/4 wooden sleeves for the 'Gotterdammerung', Siegfried' and 'Die Walkure' sections, one of the inner edges has started to split on the outer surface.  (This is thought to have possibly resulted from the weight of the item, if it has been stored in a downward position for some time).  Nonetheless, these sleeves remain stable and otherwise intact.
Accompanying booklets are in excellent, unmarked condition inside.  Some faint creasing on some covers, commensurate with general reading use.
Please see the photographs provided for a fuller description of the item condition.  Whilst we have provided a detailed description of the item imperfections for quality purposes, this nonetheless remains a lovely, collectable, vintage item, in great condition.
We will be happy to help if you have any questions about this item.  Thanks for looking!
