Description

This is a copy of an original pressing on Mercury Records, Cat# OCS-6205 (Stereo) The condition of the 'gatefold' type cover is (EX) the corners are all 'square' except for the bottom right corner of the 'gate' which has a 'factory' defect. It appears as though the corner was cut unevenly, so that when the 'gate' is closed it is about 1/16 of an inch short, hardly noticable (see pix) the top and bottom seams of the 'jacket' or 'mouth' side have 'split' seams in the middle that are about a 1 1/2 inches long. The rest of the seams are tight and clean. The cover has a beautiful 'glossy' finish that is intact. There is some discoloration on the 'gates' right hand edge where the art 'slick' ends, but the cover continues (see pix) The condition of the vinyl is (Near Mint) with nice bright shiny wax that has only a couple of 'surface paper' type marks that do Not affect the fidelity which is excellent. There is No 'surface' noise and No 'snaps,crackles or pops' to intefere with the spoken word readings. The LP also contains the 'original' 8 page booklet! The tracks are: Introduction/ Basic Hip/ Vocabulary Building/ The Loose Wig/ The Riff/ The Hang Up (B) Put On, Put Down, Come On, Come Down, Bring Down/ Cool/ Uncool/ Field Trip #1/ Field Trip #2/ Field Trip #3 and Summary.
