Lana Del Rey – Born To Die (The Paradise Edition) LP 12" Vinyl Record

Born To Die (The Paradise Edition) is a landmark release in Lana Del Rey's discography, combining her breakthrough sophomore album Born To Die with the Paradise EP into a deluxe package that solidified her status as one of the most distinctive voices in 21st-century pop. Originally released in November 2012, this edition arrived at the peak of Del Rey's early-career momentum, following the massive success of singles like "Video Games" and "Summertime Sadness." The Paradise material represents a darker, more cinematic expansion of the Born To Die universe, incorporating baroque pop, dream pop, and trip-hop influences while exploring themes of Americana, doomed romance, and Hollywood glamour. Critically acclaimed for its lush orchestration and Del Rey's sultry, melancholic vocal delivery, this release helped define the alternative pop landscape of the early 2010s and remains an essential collector's item for fans.

🎵 Album Highlights

This limited edition vinyl pressing is distinguished by its slipcase packaging, offering a premium presentation that houses the LP in a protective outer sleeve. As a European import from Polydor and Interscope Records, this release combines the Paradise EP's eight tracks onto a single vinyl LP, pressing them with the audiophile quality that vinyl collectors seek. The Paradise material itself was recorded during the same sessions as Born To Die but took on a life of its own, featuring contributions from renowned producers like Rick Rubin, Emile Haynie, and Rick Nowels. The minimalist yet evocative cover art—featuring Del Rey in a vintage Hollywood pose—perfectly complements the album's retro cinematic aesthetic.
