DEEP PURPLE 'HUSH' UK 10" ACETATE

This auction is for a VERY RARE one sided 1-track Emidisc 10" metal acetate - "Hush" (4:21)

You are bidding on a UK (Made In Gt.Britain) one-sided 10" metal acetate record of the Deep Purple single "Hush". This is a pre-production 10" playback lacquer ( known to collector's as an acetate ) for the group's first commercially issued debut 7" record back in 1968.  The acetate is in excellent condition....plays superbly with a crystal clear powerful sound....the label is slightly mottled with age ... and the typed writing has faded just a little over the years. Obviously ... a mega rarity: Here is a superb and very rare, possibly unique opportunity, to get your hands on an ultra rare DEEP PURPLE one-sided, one track (Hush), 10"metal acetate on the British Emidisc label . As was the case with these studio acetate discs there would have only been a handful of copies pressed, probably five or less, usually for group members, studio engineers and high level record company personnel etc---

As stated above the acetate is in excellent condition, just a few very light marks on the playing side and non-playing reverse side, it plays superbly , at 45rpm. The acetate comes housed in a thick grainy textured die-cut 10"Brown cover which is in excellent condition.

THIS IS A VERY RARE ITEM AND A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE SUCH A FANTASTIC PIECE OF DEEP PURPLE HISTORY!! 

This incredibly rare UK Emidisc 10" metal acetate has been part of my large Deep Purple collection for over 35 years. It was in excellent condition when I originally purchased it and it has only played 5 or 6 times since!  I have put a modest starting figure of £40 ~ from distant memory the price I paid for this monster rarity back in the early 1970's!!
