Three 10 inch records from 1940

      Here is a very rare item: all three records from the 1940 original cast of Peter Pan. Starring Jean Forbes-Robertson repeating her legendary performance as Peter along with Dinah Sheridan, who on stage, played opposite Jean as Wendy, this is the closest we will ever get to an original cast album of Peter Pan as envisioned by J.M. Barrie. Included are the songs with music by John Crook and lyrics by Barrie himself. They include:

"Captain Hook's Song"- George Baker

"Lullaby"- Nancy Evans

"Song of the Lost Boys"- Sheridan and the Italia Conti Children

"Hook's Monologue"- Gordon Harker

"Pirate's Song"- George Baker and Chorus

     Also included on two sides is the "Nursery Scene" from Act I and "The Home Under the Ground" which includes Peter's plea for Tinkerbell's life: clapping and all!!

     And get this: these records are in pristine condition! The sound is just wonderful!
