Description
Rare original first press Blue Note Mono from 1966.
VAN GELDER in run off but no P or ear as Liberty Records had taken over before the album was pressed, so it was pressed somewhere other than the Plastylite pressing plant synonymous with Blue Note.
This album was possibly the standout avant-garde free jazz album of the sixties. Sounds extremely good if a little mental. But sound quality wise it is easy to see why Original Blue Notes are so sought after.
Cover art by Reid Miles says everything about the music on this album.
The album is in very very good condition and deserves to be said that I will rate as VG+ but both record and sleeve are as good as you are going to get without rating NM.
