COVER IS VG++ W/ NO  SEAM SPLITS & THE CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE - SEE PHOTO


RECORD IS VG++ W/ A FEW LIGHT SURFACE SCUFFS- SOME OF THESE CAUSE SOME LIGHT SURFACE NOISE IN THE QUIETER SECTIONS – MONO ONLY- WE DID LISTEN TO THE WHOLE LP AND ITS STILL SOUNDS GOOD - 


BLACK LABEL PROMO notable, vintage, doo-wop Record album circa 1957.

Legendary banned album due to the front cover photo: lead singer Rudy West is posed in front of the other four members (that is, he is first from the left. He was photographed with his left hand extended outward in a pose of singing. Meanwhile, his errant right hand had moved forward so that just a portion of what is apparently his right forefinger sticks out from behind his suit jacket. Some people saw this as a penis, believing that a (black) man was sticking his dick out on a record album cover. In 1957!

Capitol wisely pulled the record from release and all subsequent pressings had the offending member removed from the cover photo. The Five Keys On Stage
