Description
PLEASE NOTE: I accept UK£ cash, UK£ cheques, and PayPal ONLY. If you are not planning to pay by any of these methods, please do not bid. This is David Tibet's own copy of this legendary Current 93 rarity, the EMBLEMS test-pressing, and is number 1 of the 25 copies that were made.
This was originally going to be released as a full colour picture disc (DURTRO 016 LP) but Tibet was never happy with the quality of the test-pressings and the album was never put out.
Plain white picture disc with Tibet's handwriting in black ink on the label area: "EMBLEMS CURRENT 93 1/25 MY COPY!" and his signature
It comes in a clear vinyl sleeve with a cat-profile drawing by Tibet, mainly in black ink, with little highlights in green and red, on it and, again, the words "EMBLEMS BY CURRENT 93 MY COPY! 1/25". The back of the clear vinyl has no writing or image on but has Tibet's GODISLOVE embossed stamp on it.
Also enclosed is a white piece of paper with the title, catalogue number and track-listing written in Tibet's handwriting in black ink.
The test-pressing has been played a few times (by Tibet) and has, like all the other copies, slight crackling occasionally, which is why he rejected them all and gave them away to friends.
