CURRENT 93 - EMBLEMS
Details: This is a copy of the extremly rare limited edition EMBLEMS album signed with dedications from David Tibet to John Balance. This is a white picture disc test pressing, unreleased and number 4 of an edition of 25 copies only. Track titles are written by David Tibet on the clear plastic sleeve in gold ink. The plastic sleeve has also been embossed with a stamp reading "The Dreamer Is Still Asleep". The vinyl itself contains two signatures, one on each side. One side reading "For Balllllance Love Love" in black ink and in Gold, "David Tibet 4/25". The other side reads "For Balance With Love Always Tibet" in black ink. CONDITION: Some of the gold ink on the plastic cover slip has been rubbed off over time but all the writing is still easy to read. Condition of the Vinyl is near perfect.
This item comes from the private collection of the band COIL - Jhonn Balance (1962-2004) and Peter Christopherson. It is being sold as part of a re-organization coinciding with their leaving the North Tower - the band's base for the last 6 years - in search of pastures new (though in different directions!). The item was treasured by Jhonn and Peter, and is being sold simply for reasons of space. It comes with a card confirming its Provenance embossed with a private library stamp reading "The Dreamer Is Still Asleep".
