Description

Is this the same version later retitled 'Close The Door' from Cliff's 1968 '...Branches Out' album? Afraid I don't know...all the same, a stonking R&B floor-shaker in nice VG condition for an acetate of this vintage, very few surface marks with a hint of crackle. This disc and its companion piece (see my other items) are a real pair of oddities, identical handwriting on both examples so perhaps they were intended as a 45 pairing then shelved. Who knows? I've deliberately left a reasonable timespan between each acetate so the Bennett completist may bid at leisure on both items. Any questions, do write.
