Description

This is my prized possession, a 1998 first pressing of Bright Eyes first vinyl release, Letting off the Happiness. It is numbered 17 out of 300, it is also in Mint Condition.

It really pains me to see this go, but the money is needed for an amazing cause!

I bought this in April 2005 from a chap who lived in Omaha, NE and who had owned the record since it's release in 1998, it was played once by him when he bought it and has remained unplayed since.

As I say, I really hate to sell this so I am putting up a reserve, it really isn't that high. It is a lot less than what I paid for it, but as I say I need the money. Hopefully a nice Bright Eyes fan is out there who wants to give this very rare and hard to find baby a home.

I have google'd around and haven't been able to find any information about any other first pressing letting off the happiness lp's for sale, or even existing, but I remember in late 2004 number 5 of 300 was sold on eBay. I remember because I was outbid. Guess I was lucky to have this one pop up a few months later.
