This is a RARE FIND for the true BOB CRANE fan!

You are bidding on an original promotional 33RPM comedy record of Pat Buttram Bob Crane Laffter Sweet and Profane.

Front of the album cover is SIGNED by Bob Crane, "TO RONNIE, MY BALD-HEADED LISTENER, BOB CRANE."

Rear cover notes list this RARE promotional sound recording as being "For file and reference purposes only - not for sale or broadcast." Crane's side of the record contains excerpts from his 5th Anniversary show on KNX Radio.

Before Hogan's Heroes, Bob Crane was the morning drive-time radio disc jockey at CBS KNX Radio in Los Angeles in 1957. Paired with Pat Buttram (another KNX Radio DJ - the "Sweet"), Bob Crane's antics (the "Profane") with guest Jonathan Winters and Crane's fractured versions of the show's commercial spots are sure to bring plenty of "Laffter!"

The record's condition is VG with minor scuffs but with no scratches - some playing & visible wear is evident. Some noise can be heard in areas at lower volume levels. The record plays well with no skips.

The album cover is in POOR condition, with two of three sides completely split (top and bottom), and the spine side is 75% split. The only thing that sets this cover apart is CRANE'S autograph. The liner notes about Bob Crane at KNX on the reverse side are pretty good, too! All cover notes are clear and readable.

This record will be shipped outside of its paper sleeve & cover, separated with foam pieces between, and with cardboard stiffeners outside the album to prevent any damage during shipping. Cover will be shipped inside an archival plastic sleeve. Item will be enclosed in a folding box specifically designed to ship 12" LPs. Item will be labeled "FRAGILE".
