THE BEATLES - 'STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER'/'PENNY LANE'
This EXCELLENT UK 1st pressing dates from its initial February 1967 release and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5570
A genuine red & white EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the 'Strawberry Fields Forever' label
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & upper case 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'Penny Lane' label.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18415-1 & 7XCE 18416-2
Stamper codes: 1/P & 2/GO
The disc is housed in its original limited edition, thin paper, colour picture sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & undamaged pair showing little more than a small collection of well-aimed spindle marks around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are clean, bright and glossy with just a few light marks on each run in but no scratches or other such wear to the playing surfaces themselves. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a few harmless wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Play: VERY GOOD
This copy has received some careful play and is without any major deterioration to the sound quality. My careful play check detected some light background crackle which is most noticeable on 'Strawberry Fields Forever'. However, there is no groove/play wear to either song or any further audible faults or distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
Clean & flat with some minor storage wrinkling and a few faint age spots to the lower edge of the rear panel, but no writing, tears or splits.
