This is one of many Music Reviewers Records. Released by Parlophone UK on the 17th February 1967, Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane was yet another No 1 Hit Single for The Beatles. This First Issue UK Vinyl 45 Factory Sample issue is on the traditional Black and Silver Parlophone Label, with The Gramophone Co Ltd Label rim, with Sold in UK label text and Made in Gt. Britain on both sides of the record label. The Vinyl 45 comes in its Original WAVY TOP Thin Paper Picture Sleeve and it is understood that only 250,000 of these delicate Paper Picture Sleeves were issued worldwide. This was the first of only two Beatles Singles to be released with a picture sleeve, the other being The Beatles final UK single Let It Be.

Both sides of the record labels are in as almost new Mint Minus condition, undamaged labels with just signs of one play only, the official and genuine Factory Sample Sticker is visible on the Penny Lane side.

The official side 1 matrix is 7XCE 18415-1/Side 2 matrix is 7XCE 18416-2. The side 1 stampers are: KT3 AO. Side 2: KT2 PA.

There is a KT Tax Code visible on the centre of the Strawberry Fields side label.

Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in immaculate Mint condition, the Vinyl disc is as new, just superb.

The Original UK First Issue paper Picture Sleeve is in very nice undamaged Excellent Plus condition. The thin paper sleeve shows some light inevitable creasing, there are no seam splits, just a tiny nic to the opening edge.

Both sides of the disc play extremely well without any skips or jumps.

A beautiful example of this rare and genuine UK original 1967 Factory Sample 45 single, in it’s original paper picture sleeve, with a stunning Mint disc.
