Description
What do you get for the Beatles fan that has everything? Something they most certainly don't already have.
This is a very rare test pressing of Ringo Starr's 1973 album, Ringo. It includes 2-page piece of paper describing the tracks. (See photos.)
This test pressing is special because track B3, "Six O'Clock", is a longer, unreleased version of the Paul McCartney / Linda McCartney track.

There are 4 pieces of scotch tape on track B3. I am assuming the engineers placed these purposely, so people wouldn't listen to the track and disregard it. I have not removed the tape, as items like this are often more valuable with the imperfections intact. (Know that if you do choose to remove it, it's supposedly easy to do. I've read on the Steve Hoffman forums that using Goo Gone and then immediately wiping with isopropyl alcohol is the safest way to do it. You should also be able to remove it with a professional ultrasonic cleaning.)

Visual condition of this record I would grade VG to VG+. Side one is very clean. Side 2 has the scratches shown in the photo.
Playback condition, I would grade it an overall VG+, with the exception of the scratches on B1 and B2 (pictured). I heard a light skip in the middle of B1. Otherwise these scratches were completely inaudible on my AT-LP120. I also noticed no issues on side one during playback.
There is no cover, but I have purchased a generic white sleeve to house it in that is included. I have housed the disc in a diskeeper sleeve that is also included.
I am also including a VG/VG+ version of the official release!
These test pressings become available very rarely. The last one sold for $400.
